Happy New Year

Hi There!

So I have never blogged before, however this year I have
decided to begin, and also to include some VLOGs in here too! J

So, it’s been almost a week of 2016, and my first week has
been pretty great I guess!

I should probably mention that in November 2014 I took big
risk, quit my job at Voyage Care and chose to pursue my true passions and
dreams as an Actress and Model. Pretty scary stuff huh? Last January then, was
pretty bleak for me, and I struggled quite horrendously with my finances! But
in a year I have managed to bag myself some solid lead roles in 2 Web-Series,
and I have also been in a Music Video for band; Sun Arcana, as well as a number
of shorts and scenes J
as well as keep on a steady head with my modelling. Although not as much as I
had hoped!

So I do have goals this year however, in this industry (as a
wise friend once told me) you can only achieve goals when the right opportunity
presents itself to you at the right time. I’m extremely timeline and goal
driven, however, I also know I need to cut myself a bit of slack sometimes!

So, this week has been wonderful really, on Monday I filmed
a short scene with my sister (once it is edited and put together I will post it
for you to see J).
It was a bit hectic and last minute as the script was only received the night
before and I ended up re-writing a fair bit of it to suit the mood we wanted to
reflect! It was my sister’s first time acting on screen and our first time
acting together properly! I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

I was unfortunately cancelled for some days filming this
week which meant I suddenly had an influx of free days – WHAT TO DO?! However a
casting came in from my Modelling agency so I attended that on Wednesday and
also met up with two actor friends of mine – both meetings produced wonderful
plans so watch this space!!!!

This week I have also resumed my usual healthy eating and
fitness regime after a few naughty (but needed) weeks off over Christmas! I
happened to have a BooTea 14 day detox in my cupboard so used that as an
excuse! Whilst I’m not sure of all the different arguments for/against it all,
I do find it is a good way to set yourself back on track, providing you keep to
the 14 day plan! I also find I crave sugar MUCH less whilst I am drinking the
tea, which is great as hopefully that’ll continue once I stop J

I also started ‘Yoga with Adriene’ a channel on Youtube,
where Adriene is doing a 30-day challenge. I’m currently on day 3, so I will
keep you updated with how that goes, but so far it’s been really wonderful and
she’s great at explaining what to do! I’d definitely recommend checking that
out!

When Clarins UK favourite a tweet with photos of you in it
though – then you know it’s a good week! And Dr PawPaw even featured one of the photos below on their Instagram page! @dr.pawpaw - their products are simply wonderful and really helped my dry skin in the Dry Italy heat! :)

Happy New Year!!
