Busy Bee

The last couple of weeks have been a bit manic! And I have the oldest laptop in the world, and I cant write on here without it - so it’s all been a bit of a struggle to update! But here I am!

So on Saturday 6th Feb I shot a showreel scene with my fellow actor friend Nattacia (http://www.nattaciasatie.com/) who moved to London from New York and so needed some footage to send off to Casting Directors and such! Thomas Stroppel (http://www.thomasstroppel.com/ ) directed the scene for us, and was super-amazing and helpful!

I’m currently waiting on that to be edited so once it’s done I will share it with you all! :)

On the same day I went to the Actors Centre surviving actors event, I only managed to attend one talk ‘Representation: Secure an Agent That’s Right For You! - Simon & How’ and actually left feeling a bit demotivated! NOTHING against the agent or agency, he did explain it was his personal opinions and experiences, but due to all my personal experiences I just felt like acting maybe wasn’t a world where I actually belonged, despite feeling so at home in it.

But luckily afterwards i met up with some friends and we discussed the rest of the event and actually some of them had heard all sorts of different things, so it was a big reminder that every single persons journey is different, and that’s part of what makes the industry so beautiful and so diverse! :)

The following week was insane! on Monday 8th I visited Amy Woods, a certified beauty therapist who is currently working from home in Chatham. I have decided I need to take better care of myself so will be visiting her every 4-6 weeks from now on! I’ll do a bigger and better blog post another time about that! :)

On Tuesday 9th I had an exciting meeting in London, followed by a journey up to Leeds, on the Wednesday I shot with Westrow Hair for Kebelo, and then on Thursday I shout with Lens and Hound for Cocoon Luxe and Fairfax!
Then on the Friday I had a photoshoot with Richard Grebby in Ashford followed by a rehearsal for my first Feature Film, ‘The Blag’ in Hertfordshire!!

A CRAZY couple of weeks! But exciting too!!
