Dinner with Mum

There’s a lot of posts which I need to write/update and get posted on here but this one is the one I felt was most important.

I wrote this title at a time when I had been super-crazy busy and despite her living just ten minutes away from me, I hadn’t seen my mum in around 3 weeks. This was for a number of reasons, my days off didn’t coincide with hers. or shift patterns were opposite to the times I was free and things but it got to a point where she commented on a Facebook status and I felt a huge pang of sadness knowing that she was so close and yet so far. And so much had happened for me too that I needed to update her about!

Luckily we managed to set a date and had a very rare dinner just the two of us.

I have no photos to share with you because I just sat and enjoyed this time with my mum. Something, which I think often we forget to do… Even if you live miles away from your mum (and dad) , give her a call, send her a message, organise to go and see her, they don’t stop thinking about you simply because you’re not there!

And, I have endeavored to try my absolute hardest to ensure that as long as I live so close to her, that kind of time apart will not happen again!

Love you mum xx
